By using DataConversionCenter.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the Site.

Data Conversion Center provides free, browser-based file conversion and data processing tools. These tools operate entirely within your browser — no files are uploaded to our servers. The service is provided free of charge, with no account required.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or the service as a whole at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site only for its intended purpose: processing files and data using our browser-based tools. You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Site
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Site at volume
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Site's code or tools

Because all processing is local to your browser, we have no visibility into the files you process. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any files or data you use with our tools.

4. Intellectual property

The Site's design, code, content, and branding are owned by Data Conversion Center or its licensors. Open-source libraries used by the Site (PDF.js, FFmpeg.wasm, jsPDF, and others) are used under their respective open-source licenses.

Your content: You retain full ownership of any files you process with our tools. We make no claim to your files or processed outputs. Since files never reach our servers, they cannot become part of our systems.

5. Disclaimers

The Site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The tools will meet your specific requirements or produce professional-grade output
• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
• Conversion results will be identical to output from native desktop applications
• The tools will handle all edge cases, complex file structures, or unusual formats

Browser-based processing has inherent limitations compared to native applications. Complex PDFs, unusual audio codecs, and non-standard data formats may produce suboptimal results. We document known limitations on individual tool pages.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Data Conversion Center shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Site or its tools.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid us — which, as the service is free, is zero.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
