Privacy Policy
We designed this site so that protecting your privacy requires no policy enforcement — because your files never reach us.
Contents
1. The core privacy fact
Your files are never uploaded to our servers. Every conversion, formatting, and processing operation on this site runs in your browser using standard browser APIs. When you convert a PDF, resize an image, decode a JWT, or format JSON, that operation happens entirely within your browser tab. No file content, file name, or conversion data is transmitted to us or any third party.
This is an architectural fact, not a policy promise. There are no file upload endpoints on our servers. There is no storage infrastructure for user files. It is not technically possible for us to receive your files because we never built the infrastructure to do so.
2. Your files and data
Files you process with our tools: Never transmitted. Processed in browser memory using the File API, Canvas API, Web Audio API, PDF.js, FFmpeg.wasm, or native JavaScript — depending on the tool. Deleted from browser memory when you close the tab or navigate away.
Text you paste into our tools (JSON, SQL, Markdown, code, etc.): Never transmitted. Processed in JavaScript in your browser tab. Not stored in any database, log, or analytics system.
URLs you enter (e.g. in the QR code generator or HTML to PDF tool): Not transmitted to our servers. The QR code is generated in your browser's JavaScript engine. For HTML-to-PDF, rendering occurs in your browser's local frame.
3. Analytics we collect
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics collects:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- General geographic region (country/city level, not precise location)
- Browser type, operating system, and screen size
- Referring website (how you arrived at the site)
- Which tools are used (page-level, not content-level)
Google Analytics does not collect file names, file content, text you paste into tools, or any data you process. It only sees which pages you visit and standard browser metadata.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or any standard content/tracking blocker.
4. Cookies
We do not set any first-party cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _gid) for session identification and analytics purposes. These are standard analytics cookies and contain no personal information or file data.
We do not use cookies for advertising, remarketing, or tracking you across other websites.
5. Third-party services
| Service | Purpose | Data shared | Policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Usage statistics | Page views, browser metadata | Google Privacy Policy |
| Google Tag Manager | Analytics tag delivery | None beyond GA4 | Google Privacy Policy |
| Web Speech API (Chrome) | Audio transcription | Active audio stream to Google speech servers during transcription only | Google Privacy Policy |
| Open Exchange Rates | Currency conversion rates | API request only — no user data | Third-party API |
Web Speech API note: The Audio to Transcript tool uses Chrome's Web Speech API for transcription. In Chrome, the active audio stream is sent to Google's speech recognition servers during transcription. Your audio file is not uploaded — only the live stream during transcription. For fully private transcription of sensitive audio, use a locally-installed transcription application.
6. Children's privacy
Our tools are general-purpose utilities for file conversion and data transformation. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The site is not directed at children. If you believe a child has used this site, there is no account data or file data for us to delete, as we do not store any.
7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we do not store personal data, file content, or user-identifiable conversion history, most GDPR and CCPA data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) have no practical application to our service — there is no data about you in our systems beyond anonymised analytics.
For Google Analytics data specifically, you can opt out using the GA opt-out add-on. For EU users, Google Analytics is configured to anonymise IP addresses before storage.
8. Contact
Questions about this privacy policy can be directed to us via the contact page. We respond to all privacy inquiries within 5 business days.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to our tools or applicable law. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
